Grand Canyon hike, South rim to North rim, 25 miles, September 1999

Fast hiking across the Grand Canyon. We started at 3:00AM from
the Bright Angel Lodge trailhead under flashlight power. Down
from the south rim, across, and up to the top of the north rim.
25 miles later, at 1:00 in the afternoon, we were on the north rim.
Just in time for beers and pizza at the North Grand Canyon Lodge.
